  1. Explanation of the SWITCHES command. It is 
  2. in the CONFIG.SYS.
  3.  
  4. This command will make an enhanced keyboard 
  5. behave like a conventional keyboard.
  6.  
  7. Example:
  8.        If you want MS-DOS to use conventional
  9.        keyboard functions, even though you 
  10.        have an enhanced keyboard, you have 
  11.        to include the following
  12.        line in your CONFIG.SYS file:
  13.            switches=/k
  14.
